𝗔𝗶𝗿 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗩𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 : 0.45𝘮/𝘴, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦?

🔠 Even all regulations/standards (ISO14644-3, GMP Annex1, US FDA, GMP, etc.) agree on 0.45m/s ±20% air velocity, they are giving a different perspective on measurement height.

📶 However, measuring «at a working height» and expecting it to be 0.45m/s may create turbulence and introduce contamination to your production, especially in barrier systems.

☑ The best practice here is to define consistent measurement height from surface or filter media and support this distance with airflow visualization study.

☑ Make sure your precautions are not causing contamination and, serves to maintain air cleanliness.
