For normal conditions of use without pressure and/or high temperatures, we recommend to use the following rule of thumb to determine the wall thickness:
Outer diameter of tubing x 0,1 = wall thickness
For most of the applications, a wall thickness with 10-15 % of the outer diameter is sufficient. If vacuum is used, the wall should be as thick as possible.
