Our knowledge about COVID-19 and its causative agent, SARS-CoV-2, is rapidly evolving. This informative webinar will provide an overview of the basic virology of SARS-CoV-2 and highlight aspects of the resulting disease, COVID-19. Additionally, we will review the current knowledge of the virus-host interaction on a cellular level.

Finally, we will discuss detection, liquid handling, and imaging applications that are beneficial to the relevant fields of clinical research, general virology research, therapeutic development, and immunology and pathogenesis.
