BioStack Microplate Stacker

BioStack™ is a compact and versatile microplate stacker compatible with BioTek’s washers, dispensers, detectors and imaging systems. The unique plate carrier design of BioStack brings unprecedented transfer speeds to increase throughput and enhance productivity, accommodating assay workflows both with and without plate lids. BioStack 4 has a rotational gripper for ergonomically friendly instrument panel access. Automate washing and liquid handling processes with BioStack and the 405™ Touch, 405 LS, EL406™ or MultiFlo™ FX with 24-, 48-, 96-, 384- and 1536-well plates along with other formats up to 22 mm in height. The patent pending BioStack 4 offers plate de-lidding and re lidding capability, ideal for sensitive cell-based assays. Walk-away batch microplate reading is also easily accomplished with BioTek’s Synergy™ line of multi-mode readers and Cytation™ 3 Cell Imaging Multi-Mode Reader, along with the Eon™, Epoch™ and PowerWave™ HT microplate spectrophotometers, operating through Gen5™ PC software. The basic model BioStack can be integrated to MicroFill™ dispensers and Precision™ pipetting systems. BioStack models are available with 10, 30, or 50 microplate storage stacks, all removable and interchangeable to accommodate individual throughput needs. 10, 30 and 50 plate stacks are available for use with BioStack to accommodate varying throughput requirements. Stacks are easily exchanged among multiple BioStacks in the lab, for maximum flexibility. The smaller stacks are compact to fit within a biosafety enclosure, and 50 plate stacks provide high throughput, walkaway automation.
